"My
inspiration is everywhere I find it. Nature, the human form, the unconscious and,
of course, the great artists of the past. Inspiration is an integral part of
the artist. It is always there planning in a little corner of my subconscious.
Stone is my favorite medium as it is so very exciting. I want to touch it,
carve it, change it into what it is hiding from me. I also do maquettes in wax
or clay to be translated to bronze or other metals. I also enjoy modelling portraits of young children and I
like to play and make suclputres with all kinds of found materials."
